Alec Thomas Miciunas, 16, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on September 15, 2016. Dear son of Arleen (nee Rae) and Darius. Beloved younger brother of Lukas and Alyssa. Loving grandson of Mildred and Thomas (deceased) Rae, Antanas (Danute; deceased) and Erna Miciunas. Nephew of Denise (Gary) Kucinich, Karen Vraja (Dean Szalai), Perry Vraja, and Cheryl (Dave) Vanderwyst. Loving cousin of Gary, Matt, Ryan, Michael, Amanda, Samantha (Matt), Tommy, Lindsey (Josh), David, Nicole, Tessa and Ava. Alec’s personality and contagious smile would light up a room, touching the lives of everyone who was blessed to know him. With his unfaltering determination to never give up even in the hardest of times, Alec will forever be the definition of courage. He never complained throughout his battle with cancer. Alec is loved by so many friends at North Royalton High School. He loved skateboarding, snowboarding, video games and crazy socks. To Alec – We know the Lord has called you home, but please come back to visit. It’s not “goodbye,” it is “see you later.” We love you so, so much.
VISITATION MONDAY 3-8PM at JARDINE FUNERAL HOME, 15822 PEARL RD, STRONGSVILLE. Funeral Mass TUESDAY 10AM at St. Albert the Great, North Royalton. Interment Strongsville Cemetery.
