Donna was born March 29, 1946, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Helen Juanita and Albert James Standiford, Jr.
She earned a BA in Psychology from Baylor University, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Florida.
She practiced as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida, Fort Smith, and Northwest Arkansas. She was the first director of Habberton House in Springdale before working many years as a medical social worker at Washington Regional Medical Center.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Springdale.
She is preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her partner, Sally Hunt; her mother; one daughter, Kerry Hayes of Fayetteville; two grandsons, Nathan Hayes, and C.J. Hayes of Rogers; son-in-law, Phillip Hayes and Kerri Grigg; her former husband, George Gentry; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Tricia (and Wayne) Story of Fayetteville, Kathy (and Tyrell) Patton of Alma, and Jeanie (and Darrell) Jones of Fort Worth, Texas; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, September 18, 2016 at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, followed by the service at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, September 19, 2016 at Woodlawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.
