Sandy was born on May 21st, 1951, to Wesley and Audrey (nee: Jacobson) Knapton. Sandy grew up in West Allis WI. She attended West Allis Central High School graduating with honors in 1969. She attended Carroll College and received a Bachelors degree. In 1977 she married Lawrence Fuller. They settled in Sparta, WI where they built a house. She worked at Handishop Industries. She did factory work, and also tutored, helping to teach people to read.

Sandy faced many challenges in her life, never complaining, but always wanted to keep others from having to go through what she did. She was enjoying retirement which had just started in February of 2016. Sandy was on a bus tour of Nashville and Memphis when she passed away suddenly, on May 2nd, starting her final journey. She will be missed by the many people whose lives she had enriched.

Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Larry; and her parents, Wesley and Audrey.

She is survived by her three brothers, Larry (Linda) of Muskego, WI, Jim (Mary) of Charlotte, NC, and Dan (Renee) of Waterford, WI.

There will be two memorial services. The first will be on Friday, May 20th in Sparta at the Lanham-Schanhofer Funeral Home. People may visit from 3:30 to 5 p.m. when the service will start. There will be a dinner at the funeral home following the service, in celebration of her life.

The second service will be on May 21st at Peace Lutheran Church, 349 Wegge Ct., Burlington WI. Visitation will be 9:30 until the service at 11:00. There will be a lunch served in celebration of her life after the service at the church. She will be laid to rest with Larry at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
