Albert Carl Reinke, age 65, of Austin, died Friday, December 8, 2006, at Rochester Methodist Hospital.
Albert was born August 26, 1941, in Austin, Minn., to Hilbert H. and Verna Mercedes (Austinson) Reinke. After graduating from Rose Creek High School, he worked on the farm.
On July 9, 1966, Albert married Judy George in Charles City, Iowa. Together they lived at their farm home all their married lives.
Albert was a member of United Methodist Church, Brownsdale, Minn. He enjoyed softball, baseball, and sprint cars, as well as gardening, fishing, and fireworks. He loved his time with the grandchildren.
Surviving are his wife, Judy, of Brownsdale, Minn.; son, Jeffrey (Vanessa) Reinke, of Hayfield, Minn.; daughter, Susan (Jacob) Freese, of Blooming Prairie, Minn.; grandchildren, Nicholaus and Joshua Freese, of Blooming Prairie, Minn.; step-granchildren, Alex, Kiele, Ryan, and Logan, of Hayfield, Minn.; sister, Lois Reinke, of Blooming Prairie, Minn.; aunt, Evangeline Austinson, of Brownsdale, Minn.
Preceding him in death are his parents, Hilbert and Verna Reinke; son, Daniel; grandmother, Mary Austinson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at Brownsdale United Methodist Church, Brownsdale, Minn., with Pastor Jim Purdham officiating. Friends may call at the Worlein Funeral Home in Austin from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be in Grandview Cemetery, Austin.
