Alton Glen Perry, 77, of 1931 Harrison, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1988 at the McKay-Dee Hospital of heart failure.

He was born Aug. 10, 1911 in Kanesville, a son of Marion Gilbert and Pearl Annie Rawson Perry.

He married Carmen Boothe on Nov. 7, 1934 in the Logan LDS Temple.

He was a High Priest in the Ogden LDS 20th Ward. He had held various positions in the church, including, Scoutmaster, Elder's quorum president and counselor in the stake Elder's quorum. He had also served a stake mission and enjoyed temple work.
He enjoyed bowling, camping, and fishing.

He had been emplyed at Coronet's in Magna and the Paramount Ice Cream Store. He was a warehouse manager at Hill Air Force Base, where he had been employed for 21 years prior to his retirement in 1979.

He lived in Deweyville, Magna and Salt Lake City, and had been a resident of Ogden for the past 45 years.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd., with Bishop David Cawley officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Interment in the Deweyville Cemetery.
