Cindy Burt Crawford, 55, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Coulter Road Baptist Church, 4108 Coulter St., with Cindy Rowley officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.
Cindy was born Aug. 1, 1961, in Odessa to William and Virginia Burt. The family moved to Amarillo when she was a baby. She graduated from Amarillo High School in 1979. She earned a bachelor's degree in business education in 1985 from West Texas State University.
Cindy was a concert pianist. She ran a large piano studio for 15 years. She was very proud of her children, having home-schooled both of them. She loved to cook and bake. Cindy enjoyed family trips to the lake, and loved to waterski. She was very active in multiple women's ministries.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Burt; and her stepmother, Norma Burt.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Crawford; a daughter, Catherine Crawford, MD, of Irving; a son, Josiah Crawford and wife Karis of Irving; her mother and stepfather, Virginia and Robert Daniel of Amarillo; and two sisters, Debra Campoamor of Claude and Shelly Akerly and husband Bruce of Coppell.
The family suggests memorials be to Family Support Services, 1001 S. Polk St., Amarillo, TX 79101; or beautifulbeyondthepain.org.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
