Mrs. Susan Sherbert Hamby, 64, widow of Mr. Leon Hamby, of 202 Louise St. Union S.C. died Wednesday, September 14th 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Hamby was born November 13th 1951. She was the daughter of Mrs. Mary Maxine Moore Sherbert and the late William Earl Sherbert. Survivors in addition to her mother are one daughter Katrina Ray of Union, two sons Terry Hamby of Spartanburg, Jamie Varner (Mirium) of Arizona, one sister Kathy Varner (Tim) of Union, six grandchildren Trenton Ray, Cassandra Ray, Kathy Means, Alyssa Hamby, Milena Varner, Lamarcos Brannon, six great grandchildren, Izayion Brannon, Zavien Ray, London Ray, Alaysia Ray, Dontrea Austin, Alana Ray,and a special nephew Billy Ponder. She was predeceased by a sister Audrey Sherbert. Memorial services will be held Monday September 19th 2016 at 4pm at Lewis Funeral Home Chapel With Pastor George Thomas officiating.
