Mr. James L. "Jim" Erickson, of North Freedom, passed away at the age of 65 years 1 month and 11 days on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, at home with his family by his side.
Jim, son of Helmer and Lorraine (Buysse) Erickson, was born August 3, 1951, in Minnesota.
He was a graduate of Baraboo High School.
On February14, 1981, he was united in marriage to Marcia "Lynn" Williams.
Jim worked for Walnut Hill Cemetery as a caretaker for 10 years. He then was employed by Olin Corp and Badger Technical Services at Badger Army Ammunition Plant as a general foreman until his retirement.
Jim served as a Trustee on the North Freedom Village Board for 30 years and was on the North Freedom Fire Volunteer Department for 39 years.
In his free time Jim enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and spending time with friends.
Jim will be remembered as a friend to everyone. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother that will be dearly missed.

Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Redlin Funeral Home in Baraboo with Pastor Derick Bacon officiating.
Inurnment will follow the service at Oak Hill Cemetery in North Freedom.
