Eva Gail "Evie" (Simpson) Jordan, 93, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Butler passed away on September 15, 2016 in Masonic Village.
Born on June 29, 1923, she was the daughter of Francis Simpson.
Evie lived in Oakland and graduated from Schenley High School in 1941.
She married Clyde Jordan on November 14, 1945 and they moved to Butler.
Evie worked for several years for the J C Penney store in downtown Butler.
She will be fondly remembered for being an excellent cook and baker. Every Saturday morning, the table was filled with her baked goods. Her heart was with her family.
In addition to her father, Evie was preceded in death by her husband of seventy wonderful years: Clyde W. Jordan, on June 02, 2016; her infant daughter: Lizabeth Jordan; and, her sister: Beverly Russel.
She is survived by her sons: Robert (Marsha) Jordan of Butler, Kirk (Mary) Jordan of Zelienople, and Paul (Patti) of Fort Worth, Texas; her six grandchildren; her nine great-grandchildren; and, her brother: Thomas Simpson of Gibsonia.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
