JAMES P. REDINGTON

James P. Redington, 58, of 360 South Hickory St., Escondido, Calif., died in Polomar Memorial Hospital last Thursday after being stricken, apparently with a heart attack.

Mr. Redington was born in Elyria, Oct. 30, 1913, and had made his home here until 1945.

He was a graduate of Elyia High School, Brown University, Providence, R.I., and Case Western Reserve University. Active in church and civic affairs he was a stockbroker for E.F. Hutton and Co., LaJolia, Calif.

Surviving are his wife, Margaretta; a son, James R., and two daughters, Mrs. Marilyn Bernhard and Mrs. Sally Ann Kolb, all of California; ten grandchildren; a sister living in Vermont.

Memorial services were held in the First Congregational Church in Escondido Monday.

The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the First Congregational Church in Escondido or to the American Heart Fund.
