Margie Smith Burns, 89, of Greenville, wife of William “Bill” Burns, died September 14, 2016.
Born in Newry, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Luther and Mattie Hicks Smith.
Margie was a member of Brandon Baptist Church and a 1944 graduate of Parker High School.
She is survived by two sisters, Pauline McCarson and Ruth Traynham.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Joyce Smith Patton; and two brothers, Joe and Wayne Smith.
Burial: Woodlawn Memorial Park.
