He was born in Mt. Joy the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Lockwood.
Stephen was proud to serve his Country during World War II with the U.S. Army.
He retired as a Counselor for the Manos House and had worked for 1 Hour Cleaners.
Stephen enjoyed spending time with his family and bartending.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Stephanie; his sister: Lucille; and, his brother: Charles Lockwood.
Stephen is survived by his son: David Lockwood; his granddaughters: Charmaine, Ayanna, and Stanisha; his grandson: David; and, his eight great-grandchildren.
There will be a Viewing from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Sunday, September 18, 2016 in Fred F. Groff Funeral Home, 234 W. Orange Street, Lancaster.
Funeral Services will begin at 12:00 PM on Monday, September 19, 2016 in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date.
