GRANGER - Leslie Dale Green, 90, of 430 Cleveland Road, Granger, Indiana, passed away at 4:29am Sunday at Brookdale Senior Living in Granger, Indiana following a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He was born January 16, 1926 in Indiana to Melvin and Anna (Davidson) Green who both preceded him in death along with seven of his siblings. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, serving during World War 2. He was a retired Truck Driver and was a member of the Teamster's Local # 364. He is also preceded in death by his wife, Virginia. He is survived by his children: Sue Galbraith of Indianapolis, Debbie (Mick) Belle of Granger, Rick Green of South Bend, John (Tami) Green of Arizona and Lisa (Grant) Stacy of South Bend. Also surviving are many grandchildren and great grandchildren along with a sister, Enid Maddock of New Concord, Ohio. Funeral services for Leslie will be held at Riverview Cemetery in South Bend, Indiana on Saturday, September 17th, 2016 at 10:00am. The family wishes to thank Brookdale Senior Living and the Center for Hospice for the loving care given to Leslie during his illness.
