Victoria was born on August 27, 1925 in Hartford to Arthur and Natalia (nee Schoebel) Schellinger. She was united in marriage to Walter Theisen on May 22, 1945 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Hartford where she was a longtime member of the Christian Women. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, traveling, gardening, bird watching, baking and decorating wedding cakes.
Victoria is survived by her loving children, Walter, daughter-in-law, Linda Theisen, Robert (Joan), Mary Theisen, Kathy (Jim) Vogelsang, Annette Mueller, Gene (Peggy) Theisen, Jude (Greg) Lengell, John (Ginny) Theisen; cherished grandchildren, Jamie, Michelle, Rebecca (Paul) Olmeda, Jonathan, Michael (Korina), Angie (Pat) Rausch, Tim (Lauren), Tony (Candice) Vogelsang, Elizabeth (Jon) Ramstad, Luke, Paul Mueller, Dylan, Meghan Lengell; cherished great grandchildren, Kelsey, Ethan, Faith, Teryn, Lexi, Austin, Reid, Trent, Kase, Emery, Reagan, Lydia, Nixon, and Talon; dear siblings, Bernard (Lucy Szmanda) Schellinger, Eileen (Marvin) Hoffman, Eugene (Mary Lee), and Franklin Schellinger; dear sister-in-law, Joan Schellinger. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other loved relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; parents-in-law, John (Susan) Theisen; beloved husband Walter, son, Jim Theisen; daughter-in-law, Carol; and granddaughter, Tracey DeMorett; siblings, Ralph and Florian; siblings-in-law, Rev. John Theisen, Sigrid, Charlene “Chip”, Laverne Schellinger and Jerome (Gladys) Wiedmeyer.
Mass of Christian Burial for Victoria will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, (4886 Hwy 175, Hartford, WI 53027) with Fr. Davies Edassery officiating. Family will greet relatives and friends at church on Friday, February 10, 2017 from 3:00-7:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be held Saturday from 9:30a.m.-10:30a.m.
Interment in St. Peter/Paul Cemetery in Nenno, WI.
