Mrs. Sanders graduated from Winnsboro High School and from business college in Shreveport. She had a long and active career in the banking field and retired as vice-president of the Sterlington Bank in Sterlington.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, William Tobert "Tump" Sanders; her parents, Luther and Winnie Wheelus; and her sister, Jeanne Ladd.
She was survived by her daughter, Beverly Jeanne Wilhelm and husband Jim of Las Vegas, NV; one nephew, Chuck Ladd and wife Liz of Rockwall, TX; and 2 grandsons.
