Ben went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2006. He was born on May 9, 1936 in Wichita Falls, TX. Ben moved to Zephyrhills from Harrison, MI in May 2000. He was a retired Sales Associate for Century 21, and a veteran of the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth "Beth" Benson and his step-daughter, Cheryl A. Roberts of Sundance Mobile Home Park, Zephyrhills, his sons David Bruce Benson, Chris Alan Benson, and his daughter, Tina Arvelina Tremain. Ben was preceded in death by his son, Charles.

Ben's cause of death was Broncial Pnemonia. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 15, 11 am at New Beginnings Baptist Church, 5038 Mission Sq. Lane, (Mission Square Mall) Zephyrhills.

We hold close the promise of Rev.21:4 that says, "God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain; for the former things are passed away."
