OBITUARY :
Seven hours after he was seized with a heart attack, ANDREW W. STONER, 78, of 31 North Church Street, a retired chicken hatchery operator, died at the Waynesboro Hospital last night at 11:20 o'clock.

Mr. Stoner was on his way to his home when stricken. He fell in front of the Middour Window Manufacturing Company, North Church Street, and suffered a deep laceration to the left side of his head and other facial injuries.

He was removed to the Waynesboro Hospital in the ATH&L ambulance

Mr. Stoner was born in Waynesboro, the son of John and Catherine (Smith) Stoner and lived his entire life here.

As a young man he learned the barbering trade. For many years he operated a livery stable. Later, he engaged in the hatchery business and operated a farm near Fountaindale.

He retired four years ago.

Mr. Stoner was a member of Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church.

His wife died in 1947.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Leola French, Glenside, two grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Mary Oller, Waynesboro.

Funeral will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. from the Grove Funeral Home in charge of Rev. George H. Bricker. Interment will be made in Burns Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call Thursday evening from 7 until 9 o'clock at the funeral home.
