Mrs. Amy June Newport Arnold, age 56, passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at Ball University Hospital in Muncie, Indiana. Formerly of the Mountain View community, she was born on December 2, 1959, to the late James B. and Ada Grace Evans Newport. She was a member of the New River Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant sister, Charlotte Ann Newport.
Survivors include her husband, Richard L. Arnold, Jr. of Muncie, IN; three sisters, Barbara Newport and Patricia Newport of Robbins, TN, and Joan Bill and husband Tom of Oxford, IN; two brothers, James Roy Newport and wife Sandy of Muncie, IN, and Joe Newport and wife Vickie of Robbins, TN; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Arnold family on Saturday, September 17, 2016, from 11:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm, in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. David Walker officiating. Music will be provided by David Walker. Interment will follow in the Reed Cemetery in the New River Community.
Family members and friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
