MAYSVILLE -- Mrs. Elizabeth C. Tacke, 91, of Friendship Drive, Aberdeen, passed away Thursday, Dec. 7, 2006, at her residence. She was the widow of Richard "Dick" Tacke who passed away Oct. 26, 1969. Mrs. Tacke was born in Lexington, on Aug. 1, 1915, to the late Luther Kash and Maude Williams Calhoun. She was a graduate of Henry Clay High School and was a retired dental technician.

Survivors include a sister, Lois Calhoun of Aberdeen; a brother, Thomas A. Calhoun of Winston Salem, N.C.; five nieces, Johnetta Proctor of Buena Vista, Colo., Mary Vermeulen of Nacogdoches, Texas, Kande Burkhardt of Germantown, Ohio, Susan Iery of Aberdeen and Lois Stephens of Lexington; and four nephews, Robert Calhoun of San Antonio, Texas, and Dan Calhoun, Nathaniel Calhoun and Phillip Calhoun, all of Winston Salem. Two brothers, David and John Calhoun; and one sister, Leah Webb preceded her in death.

Services for Elizabeth Tacke will be at the Aberdeen Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Polston officiating. Burial in the Highland Memorial Cemetery in Miamisburg, Ohio. Visitation at Brell & Son Funeral Home.
