Karla Lee Adkins Rush, age 51 of Marion, passed away peacefully Wednesday September 7, 2016 at Presidential Center in Marion after a serious motorcycle accident on July 23, 2016.
She was born on May 15, 1965 in Delaware to Glenn and Anna (Nogle) Adkins and was a graduate of Hayes High School and Delaware Area Career Center Class of 1983.
Karla was employed as the Addeco Supervisor at the Honda East Liberty Plant.
She was a member of the Harley Owner Group in Upper Sandusky and the Marion Moose.
Karla's greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her daughters. She enjoyed motorcycle riding and spending time with her friends enjoying life. Karla had a great outlook on life making people happy and always viewed the glass as half full.
She is survived by her loving husband: Roy Rush and they were married January 12, 2008 in Pigeon Forge, TN,; daughters: Mackenzie and Mackayla Hughes and their father William Hughes of Marion, parents: Glenn and Anna Adkins of Delaware; father and mother-in-law: Terry and Mary Rush of Florida; aunts: Sharon (Wayne) Swisher of Lancaster, Mary Lou (Mark) Blakeman of Delaware; 2 best friends: Rena Knotts, Martha (Casey) Osborn and Many others.
Preceded in death by grandparents: Ruth and Denton Nogle, Eileen Bennett, Gil Adkins; aunt: Linda Nogle; uncle: Wayne Adkins.
Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Friday September 16th at the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valley Side Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street) Delaware where services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday September 17th with Pastor Trevor Littleton officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
