Deborah Jean Briggs, 51, of Yakima, peacefully passed away on September 3, 2016 at Regional Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on March 9, 1965 to Kenneth and Barbara Winters. She was the second of five children and spent most of her growing up years in Selah and Yakima. She met and married Glenn Briggs in 1980. They had two sons together, Glen Jr. & Michael. Debbie also has four other children, Juan Gonzales, Alisha Gonzales, Jamie Briggs, and Regina Garcia.
Debbie is survived by her children, her two brothers, Jerry and Scott Winters, her two sisters, Terri Winters and Christina (Charles) Wood, her 13 grandchildren, her mother and step father, Barbara and Gary Houghton. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Winters.
Viewing will be Thursday, September 15th from 12:00 - 4:00 PM, and the Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 16th at 11:00 AM, both at Brookside Funeral Home (500 W. Prospect, Moxee, WA), followed by Burial at Holy Rosary Cemetery.
