Mary Lottie died in an accident. The family's version is that she had "female problems" and would get dizzy. That is why she fell off the wall at the Virginia St. Bridge in Reno. The official reason for death was "accidental traumatism by fall." Unofficially, it is believed that she was pregnant and unmarried. Not being able to face the shame of that, she attempted to commit suicide. the truth will probably never be known. --newspaper articles,
"NEVADA STATE JOURNAL," Nov. 6 and 8,1926.
