Age 92, Ms. Pierce died Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at Jacksonville Health and Rehab. She is survived by her niece, Joyce A. Lockamy; four nephews, George A., James E., Geoffrey O. and Gary S. Pierce; her sister-in-law, Anita Pierce; and Ron and Leigh Ann Lockamy. Ms. Pierce was born in Armour, S.D., raised in Ripley, N.Y. and was a resident of Jacksonville since 1998. She was a lifelong member of the Methodist church. Mrs. Pierce was preceded in death by her parents, James and Clara Pierce; and one brother, James E.
