Melba Jean Goss Reeves passed away 1 Sep 2016. She was born 2 Sep 1933 a daughter of James and Mary Alberta Pulsipher Goss in Brigham City, Utah. She graduated from Box Elder High School. She married John William Reeves 4 Jun 1952 in the Logan LDS Temple.

Melba and John raised five children in Ogden, Utah. John retired from Hill Air Force Base. Melba retired after 20 years working as a school lunch lady at Mound Fort Middle School.

In her teenage years she enjoyed square dancing with her sweetheart and bowling with her friends. Later she found joy in the Lord's service, serving with her husband at the Ogden LDS Temple.

After her husband passed, her later years were spent enjoying friendships at both The Garden and Apple Village Assisted Living Centers. Melba leaves a legacy of the friendships and relationships she spent a lifetime building. She sacrificed unconditionally for her family and friends to make sure their needs were met.

She loved spoiling her grandkids, especially on holidays. Family was her greatest joy. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; granddaughter, Makenna Reeves and other family members.

Graveside service and interment, Brigham City Cemetery.
