Dora was born Near Emmett, Kansas on February 13, 1922, daughter of the late Ruth Francis (Snyder) and Carl Ferdinand Siegle.
She had a Masters in Education and taught Home Economics for 27 years. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Salina and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Bowden, and husband John, of Salina, Kansas; 4 grandchildren, Adam Brunin and wife Tara, James Bowden, Christina Dains and husband LeLan, Carl Bowden; and great-grandchildren, Seth and Ryan Brunin.
She is preceded in death by brothers, Harvey, John and Dean Siegle
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 13, from 1:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Carlson – Geisendorf Funeral Home with family present from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held at First Church of the Nazarene, Salina, Kansas, at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 14th, with Rev. Jon M. Fillipi officiating. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at the Delia Cemetery, Delia, Kansas.
