Steven passed away on Monday, August 29, 2016 in Belden, CA. He was born June 4, 1956 in Sacramento, CA to Vergil L. and Frankie R. Owen. He was preceded in death by his father, Vergil L. Owen, maternal grandparents, Frank and Docia Robinson and paternal grandparent, Ed and Nellie Own. Steven is survived by his mother Frankie R. Own of Biggs, sister, Terri L. Hart of San Jose, CA, nephew Jimmy B. Hart of Taiwan, niece Megan L. Hart of San Jose, CA, care providers Missy Dollins and Tim Owen. The family suggests contributions be made to Steve's favorite charity, Do-It Leisure, 2233 Fair St., Chico, CA 95928, attention Holly. Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley-Block Funeral Chapel.
