Funeral Services for Billie Virginia Hutchins Bryan age 87, of Tyler will be 11:00am Tuesday at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Lance Lewis officiating with Tyler Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Bryan was born on Aug 9, 1929 in Winona to Obadiah and Lura Ann Bass Green and passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on September 10, 2016 in Tyler. A lifelong Baptist, she loved her Lord, being Baptized in a creek behind Hebron Baptist Church at age 10. She was a professional Seamstress for many years working for Hollis of Texas before having her own company. She retired in 1994 when she married James Bryan, her greatest joy on November 4, 1994. She was an avid reader, loved traditional country music, as well as traveling, especially the annual fishing trips to Colorado and she had a great passion for gardening. Survivors include her husband: James Bryan of Tyler, children: Darrell and (Shirley) , Debra and ( Brad), Joan and ( David) and James Jr.(Debbie), 8 Grandchildren and spouses 14 Great-grandchildren, 1 Great-great-grandchild, sister: Jean Long and Numerous nieces & nephews. Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, her first husband the father of her children (Darrell & Debra) Carrell Hutchins. Burial will be in Tyler Memorial Park. Arrangements under the direction of Tyler Memorial Funeral Home - Cemetery and Mausoleum, Tyler, TX.
