An angel entered into Heaven on Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016. Linda Gail West McClure was 69 years old, born Oct. 12, 1946, of Canyon Lake Texas, formally of Chattanooga Tenn. She is proceeded in death by Bette and Glenn West (parents); Mabel and Gaither Kyle (grandparents) and Clarence and Mae West, (grandparents). She is survived by her husband, Lee McClure, Canyon Lake, Texas; her son, Michael Jamerson, Austin, Texas; grandson, Austin Jamerson, Austin, Texas; step-daughter, Stephanie Grissom (Chris); step-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Danielle Grissom, Columbia, Tenn.; sister, Debi Higdon, Cedar Park, Texas; nephews, Chad Higdon, San Marcos, Texas and Todd (Chelsea) Higdon; and great-nephew, Ryder Higdon, Austin, Texas. Linda graduated from Central High School in 1964. She retired from Suntrust Bank and Regions Bank, Chattanooga Tenn. She has served as Assistant State Director of Tennessee Good Sams and also as Assistant Road Captain for the Harley Owners Group, Thunder Creek Chapter. She was a member of the North Shore United Methodist Church in Canyon Lake, Texas. She enjoyed family, traveling, and spending time at the beach. Services are pending at North Shore United Methodist Church, Canyon Lake Texas. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to North Shore United Methodist Church, 23880 North Cranes Mill Rd, Canyon Lake, Texas 78133. Donations will be applied to the Building Fund. The family would like to thank Dr Stephen Vreeke, Dr Boone Goodgame, Wimberley Home Health, Blue Bonnet Hospice and the staff at Hays County Seton Hospital.
