Belle Giles, 95, died May 21, 1992 at Friendship Manor Nursing Center, Pratt.
She was born Oct. 4, 1896, at Nickerson, KS, the daughter of James F. and Elizabeth L. Dunn Pike. She was a lifetime resident of the Macksville area.
She was a member of Pleasant Plains Friends Church, Byers, KS and was a charter member of Hopewell Homemakers EHU.
On July 18, 1917 she married Howard E. Giles at St. John. He died May 16, 1963.
Survivors include: a son, Alexander, Macksville; two daughters, Geraldine McAhren, Byers, and Nelva Lea Denbo, Red Bluff, California; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at Pleasant Plains Friends Church, Byers, with the Revs. Kenneth Routon and Judith Piest presiding.
