A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Betty Jaudine O'Briant Austin of Starkville, formerly of Montgomery County, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, at Pine Bluff Cemetery near Poplar Creek, with Bro. Danny Tompkins officiating.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Austin, 75, died at her home on Saturday, September 10. She was born on February 13, 1941, to Percy Leroy and Ida Herring O'Briant. She was a retired realtor and a member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church near Poplar Creek. Mrs. Austin was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronnie Austin; son, Christopher Bryant Austin; and two sisters, Frances O'Briant Purdy and Zelene O'Briant
Mitchell.
Mrs. Austin is survived by her daughter, Ronda Austin Winston of Cookeville, TN; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
