--Mrs. Jessie F. Kenny, 80, wife of George W. Kenny and a prominent club woman of Peru, died at her home in 684 East Main street today after suffering a heart attack. She had been ill for several weeks.
--Mrs. Kenny, a native of South Byron, N. Y., had lived in Peru since 1881 and was the founder of the Peru Art Club. She was a member of the First Baptist church, past president of the church missionary society, past president of the Associated Charities and member of the League of Women Voters, Women's Literary club and the W. C. T. U.
--Surviving with her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Corbitt, of University Redland, Calif., and two grandchildren.
--Funeral services will be held at the Allen funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock with the Rev. J. W. Herring of the Baptist church officiating. Burial will be made in Mt. Hope cemetery.
