Funeral services for Samuel Eugene Holloway, 91, of 511 McCain Dr., Monroe, were to be at 4 p.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn's Funeral Home of West Monroe with the Rev. T. Earl Ogg officiating.

Burial was to be in the Monroe Memorial Park Cemetery.

He died Wednesday at Glenwood Hospital after a lengthy illness.

He was a native of Mississippi and a retired farmer.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Jewel Holloway of Monroe; three daughters, Mrs. Lillian Shaw of Metairie, Mrs. Velma Rice of Natchitoches, and Mrs. Evely Deckerlman of Tallulah; one son, S. E. Holloway of Beaumont, Tex.; three step-daughters, Mrs. J. Hopson of Crowville, Mrs. Rvonne Ward of Jackson, Miss., and Mrs. Martin Tully of Monroe; two step-sons, Laroy Busby of Monroe and J. D. Busby of Crowville; three sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Newcomer of Monroe, Mrs. Ruby Couillard of Natchez, Miss., and Mrs. Ruth Woods of Prentis, Miss.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
