Amber Rebecca Powell was born on July 25, 1984 to Jeff and Gayle Powell. Amber gave her life to Jesus at the early age of 4; her salvation was very real to her. Amber attended Willard Schools and was a student at Ozark Technical College. Amber spent her life rescuing broken and hurting people. She was the dorm trustee at the Freedom Dream Center from 2006-2008. She then worked with addict infants at the Carol Jones Rehab Center for Women. Amber is survived by her three month old son, Noah Greyson, her parents, Jeff and Gayle Powell, one brother, Ryan and sister-in-law Amanda Powell and two nieces, Emma and Cadence. Her grandparents Rev. Lowell and Mable Kendrick and Deloris Powell. She is survived and loved by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Ambers favorite verse is Jeremiah 29:11, "He has come to give us hope and a future"!

A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2014, in Life 360 Church, 1349 W. Meadowmere, Springfield, Mo. A trust fund in her son Noah's name has been established at the Assemblies of God Credit Union 1535 N. Campbell Ave, Springfield, Mo 65802. Complete arrangements will be announced at a later date.
