Based on a telephone conversation between Eva Lorene McCown Goff Dewey on 27 Oct 2006 wherein Eva advised," Myrtle died in Elk City, Beckham Co., OK. and was buried in Grandview Cem, Elk City, Beckham Co.,OK. There are no grave markers - only a concrete border around the five plots with the name of McCown on the border. In addition to Myrtle there are buried in this site - Leona Mabra ( 2nd wife of Robert Roy McCown ) , LAURA LILAN CLINGER ( daughter of Alonza and Delia Clinger), site for Robert ( although he is buried in Fairview Cem ) and a fifth site opened."
