Andrew C. Barker, Jr. 71 of Ruther Glen died Saturday, August 15, 2015 in St. Mary's Hospital, Richmond. He had retired as a crane operator with W.O. Grubb and was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 147.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Vivian Barker; two daughters, Donna Lippa (Tony) and Patricia MacFarland (Mac); five sisters, Linda Watson, Pat Capps, Kathy Griffin, Bonnie Downey and Teresa Hall; one brother, Billy Barker; four grandchildren, Ashley Lippa Ayers, Anthony A. Lippa III, Nicholas Allen Rogers and Morgan Leigh Rogers; three great grandchildren, Caleb, Adam and Ayden. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Dorothy Barker and three siblings, Ann, Dennis and David.
The family will receive friends, Wednesday August 19th from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Storke Funeral Home, Bowling Green. A funeral service will follow on Thursday at 1:00 PM in Bethany Baptist Church, 6519 Marye Road, Woodford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
