Andrew Payne, 79, a lifelong resident of the Little Pine Community of Madison County, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2016 at his home.
Andrew was a retired farmer and worked at Western Carolina Livestock Market. He loved the mountains, taking care of cattle, and helping neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his father, Baxter Payne; mother, Leaner Vaughn Payne; brother, Billy Payne; sisters, Bernice and Hattie Payne, Mary Roberts; wife, Louise M. Payne.
Surviving are his daughter, Revonda Ann Payne.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Tuesday, September 13, 2016 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Sluder officiating. Burial will follow in the Kirk Payne Cemetery.
