Kimberly Ann Helms, age 54, wife of Charles "Chuck" Helms, passed away Friday, September 9, 2016 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington. She was born November 5, 1961 in Lexington, Kentucky. Kimberly loved crafts and movies, but mostly she loved her family and loved and adored her grandson.
In addition to her husband, to whom she was married 37 years, she is survived by her sons, Derek (Amber) Helms of Georgetown, Kentucky and Justin Helms of Lexington, Kentucky and her grandson, Eli Helms. She is also survived by her mother, Sue Gritton Grafton of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, her father James R. (Rita) Nowlin of Ocala, Florida, her brother Phillip (Beth) Nowlin of Richmond, Kentucky and her sister Sherry (Steve) Wells of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky and numerous other family members.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Evel and Thelma Gritton and her paternal grandparents Phillip and Anne Nowlin.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Tucker, Yocum and Wilson Funeral Home from 10 to 2pm. Services will be 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Steve Wells and Minister Daryl Toney officiating, with burial at Georgetown Cemetery. The pallbearers will be family members.
