Mr. Clarence Toliver, age 76, of 1179 NC Hwy 18 S, Sparta, died Friday evening, December 8, 2006, at his home. He was the son of the late Leonard Clayton and Ruth Blevins Toliver was also preceded in death by a son, Loyd Craig Toliver. He is survived by his wife, Muriel Caudill Toliver of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Carl Davis of Galax, VA; two sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard and Nancy Toliver of Ennice; Lee and Debbie Toliver of King; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Cecil Nichols of Ennice; sister-in-law, Grace Sexton of Sparta; brother-in-law and spouse, Marvin Junior and Mildred Caudill of Independence, VA; several nieces, nephews, cousins and loving church family also survives. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 13th at the Grandview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in the Crab Creek Cemetery at Ennice.
