He was born at Anson March 17, 1885, the son of Gardner and Della Randall Ingalls and was the oldest of six children.
Mr. Ingalls was a farmer and also taught school, did carpenter work and was the owner of the Carl B. Ingalls Clothing Store in Madison for several years before going to Portland.
He married Mist Elle Berry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lysander Berry of Anson.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Hilda Ingalls, he Is survived by two sons: Elwin Ingalls, California; Lysander Ingalls, Detroit Michigan; three daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Pray, Madison; Mrs. Abbie Morrow, Livermore Falls; and Mrs. Eva Fox, Tampa Fla; two brothers, Louis Ingalls, Portland; George Ingalls of Rangeley and Boston; several niece and nephews.
Funeral service and burial will be at Portland.
