Michael “Mike” G. Singleton, age 62, went home to be with the Lord on September 9, 2016.
Born in Akron, Mike lived all of his life in the Green area. He was employed with Acro Tool and Die over 40 years. Mike enjoyed living life to the fullest and trying his hand at everything. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Preceded in death by his mother, Joan; and father-in-law, John Elliott.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Susan; daughters, Amber (Steve) Saulic, Ashley (Mark) Saulic and Amy (Greg) Singleton; grandchildren, Sean, Cris, George, Summer, Juliana, Brooke, Karmen, Gabby and Mason; father, Tully; brother, Mark (Linda); sister, Lynn (Monty) Morrison; many nieces and nephews; and special friends, Ron and Carrie Parker.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m., and Wednesday, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home, 3553 Northdale Street NW, UNIONTOWN, Ohio 44685 (one block NW of the square of 619 & Cleveland Ave.), where funeral service will be held Wednesday, 11 a.m., with Dr. Ken Morrison officiating.
Burial will follow at Hillside Memorial Park. The family suggests memorials to Hospice of Summa, P.O. Box 2090, Akron, Ohio 44398-6153.
