Dominic served as a Private First Class, 135th Medical Regiment, U.S. Army during World War II.

The 135th Medical Regiment was, at this time, attached to the 32nd Infantry Division.

He resided in Hartford County, Connecticut and was a Member of the Connecticut National Guard prior to the war.

His National Guard unit was called into full time active Army service on February 24, 1941, prior to the war, from Hartford, Connecticut. He was noted, at that time, as being employed as a welder and also as Single, with dependents.

Dominic was "Killed In Action" on New Guinea during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.
