Judith Ann Oliver Hogan was born Feb. 10, 1944, in Galveston. She graduated from La Marque High School and received her bachelor's degree in library science from Sam Houston State University. Judy loved traveling with her husband, Jim. She was an active choir member in her church, Jersey Village Baptist Church in Houston, and at University Baptist Church in Fort Worth. Judy was affectionately known as "Grammy" to her five grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Judy was preceded in death by her father, Louis C. Oliver.
Survivors: Husband of 52 years, James A. Hogan; sons, James A. Hogan Jr. and John Hogan and wife, Rhonda; grandchildren, Blake, Jacob, Hunter, Seth and Bella; mother, Julia Oliver; sisters, Nancy Scott and husband, Chuck, Ellen Nunez and husband, Tim; nephews; and nieces.
