Terry Lynn Allen, born September 20, 1953, passed away from this life on Saturday, September 3, 2016 in his sleep. Lost to this world was a son, father and brother, much loved by his family and friends. His brothers are heart broken. Terry served his country in the United States Air Force; and for 30 plus years, with his identical twin brother Bill, had taken part in the Vietnam Era Twin Study On Aging. His work took him from the Siberian oil fields to the Alaskan Pipe Line. His first job was with Boiler Supply in Knoxville and he had returned there to work this year.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bill C. Allen; sister, Janet Lee Allen; grandparents, Wilfred and Pauline Allen and Bill and Winnie Murphy; and special friend, Brad Stump.
Terry is survived by his wife Joni Leann; sons, Aaron and Bradley; and daughter, Alisa Boyd; brothers, Bill (Marian) Scott, and David (Kathy) Allen; as well as four grandchildren; his mother, Helen Murphy Allen and mother-in-law, Nancy Rose; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to Murphy's Chapel Cemetery Fund, c/o Larry Smelcer, 1790 Pittman Center Road, Sevierville, TN 37876.
