On Tuesday, Jan. 2, 1990, at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Walter Eckstein, in his 93rd year.

Mr. Eckstein farmed in Wilmot township for many years and later worked at Uniroyal in Kitchener.

Loving father of Lorne and his wife Lois of Waterloo, Helen and her husband Sengster Goettling of Kitchener, Ruby and her husband Richard Hamacher of Kitchener and Arlene Arnet of Victoria, B.C.; beloved brother of Elmer and his wife Florence of Waterloo. Survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by good friend, Lydia Gondosch.

Predeceased by his wife, Martha (nee Paepcke); his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 821 King St. W., Kitchener, on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Complete funeral service will be held on Saturday, at 1 p.m., in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel. Interment Woodland cemetery.
