Sharon Cunningham, 58, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 9, at her home. Sharon was born to Clarence and Amelia Stephens on September 10, 1957 in Goshen, Indiana. She spent most of her growing up years in Pennsylvania. Sharon married Craig Cunningham on November 3, 2006, and he survives.

Sharon drove a school bus for Madison-Grant schools for over 17 years and then drove for Alexandria schools. She loved her job and the kids she drove around. She enjoyed driving the students to and from all the football games. Sharon was an avid rummager and looked forward to finding antiques. She enjoyed fairs and road trips, and they were all made even better when she could listen to Rod Stewart on the way. Most of all, Sharon enjoyed every moment she was able to spend with her children, and especially her grandchildren.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Craig Cunningham, Alexandria, IN; daughter, Heather (Christopher) Yeagy, Summitville, IN; son, Christopher Blaisdell, Osceola, IN; 3 step-sons, Andy Cunningham, Patrick Cunningham, and Daniel Cunningham, all of Alexandria, IN; and 3 grandchildren, Kaitlyn Collins, Bryce Yeagy, and Rocco Blaisdell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Amelia Stephens.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A visitation has been set for Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service honoring Sharon's life will be on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Nathan Lutterman officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Vinson Cemetery in Summitville, Indiana.

Contributions made in memory of Sharon may be made to Kindred Hospice in care of the funeral home, or to the family to help offset medical and funeral expenses.
