Andrews, Samuel L., age 93, passed away on Thursday September 8, 2016. Sam graduated from West Carrollton High School in 1941 and earned his Associates Degree from Sinclair College in 1954. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II. Sam spent his 44 year career in various positions with NCR and was a member of the Masonic lodge for over 70 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Bernice Andrews and by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy Andrews. He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Curt (Melissa) Andrews and Dave (Jean) Andrews; a sister, Helen Moyer; grandsons, Derek Andrews and Christopher Andrews. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Funeral services will follow visitation beginning at 12:00 with Rev. James Futrell officiating. Burial will be in David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Hospice of Dayton or to www.pilotdogs.org.
