On the morning of September 9, 2016, Tim George heard these words from his Lord and Savior, "Well done, good and faithful servant. Enter into the joy of your Master." A Knoxville native for 22 out of his 55 years, Tim touched many lives. He was a loving father, husband and friend, and loved all those around him well.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Marge George; and sister, Deborah Louise George. He will be missed by many, including his wife of 26 years, Jeannette George; children, Meagen Sheriff, Amanda George, Zachary George, and Adam George; grandchildren, Kayleigh, Dayton, and Levi George; siblings, Kathy Landon, of Florida, Joe George, of Ohio, Nanci Melster, of Ohio, and Terry George, of Tennessee; niece, Carrie Given; and nephews, Ryan Given, Cody Melster, and Matt Melster.
The celebration of life will be on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at 3:00 p.m., at Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church, (9132 Kingston Pike, Knoxville TN 37923), with a visitation to follow. The family will be holding a graveside service at Sherwood Chapel and Memorial Gardens.
