Rebecca was a citizen of The Republic of Texas and owned her own farm. Her first marriage was to Hezikiah Blankenship. Their children were James H b.1853,Sarah Elizabeth b. 1845, John W b.1846,and Elizabeth J. b.1850. After the death in 1852 of her first husband, she married George W. Wilkerson Feb 13, 1854. Their children were Mary A b. 1854, Robert b.1855, William b. 1856, George C. b.1857, Charles b.1859 and Nancy Rebecca Bell b.1864. Rebecca "Lizzie" and George moved to Briartown, Indian Terr. in 1871.
