Carrie Elizabeth was the daughter of Allen and Emelia(?) Mcbride Lewis and was born in Ohio ...From Ohio, her family moved to Hunt Co.Tx and were found on the 1870 Census Records. Later, Carrie married John Parnell in Mar. 1894. John was the son of Marshall William and Elizabeth J Caddell Parnell. On the 1900 Census, they had two children,Aubrey E and and Wesley Gordon who were born in Hopkins Co.,Texas. On the 1910 Census John and Carrie had two more sons and living in Burke,Little River, Arkansas Jimmie D was born in Hopkins County, Texas and and Dennis Marshall, who was born in Arkansas. Between the 1910 and 1920 Census, John and oldest son, Aubrey E had died and were buried in the Alleene Cemetery in Little River, Arkansas.On the 1920 Census,son Wesley Gordon had moved back to Texas and married Ruby Savannah Anglin and had 2 children.Carrie had moved back to Texas with 2 younger sons,Jimmie D and Dennis Marshall and were living in Saltillo,Hopkins Co.Texas Carrie Elizabeth and James B.Formby married and were living in Hopkins Co. Tx on the
1930 Cesus. James died in 1938 and was buried with his family in the Woodland Cemetery in Pickton, Tx .It is unknown when Carrie moved to Albany,Tx where her son Dennis Marshall lived with his wife and family. Carrie died in 1961 and is buried there .
