Audrey Fay (nee Callaway) Beck, Resident of Logan, IN, passed away at her home on Tuesday, September 06, 2016.

She was born on Oct. 2, 1926 in Hooven, Ohio to Pearl (nee Lientz) and Bill Callaway.

She spent her childhood on her father’s farm outside of Cleves and attended elementary school there off of Buffalo Ridge. Her father bought a farm in Bright and a few years later her mother died when Audrey was 12 years old. She attended school and graduated from Bright High School. She briefly worked at the Shoe factory in Harrison until she married Donald and moved to Colorado Springs, while he served in the Army Air Corps. They returned and eventually made their home in Logan.

She was married to Donald for 64 years. They were blessed with 6 children: William, David, Donna, Thomas, Thelma and Ronald.

Audrey was a wonderful pie maker, making many pies for numerous occasions, and also a great cook. She would always make sure those bailing hay would have plenty of food and water to eat and for all family gatherings she would have her delicious Apple Dumplings. Audrey loved yard sales, all game shows on TV, and most importantly being with her family.
